China-based wedding services platform Hunliji has secured $65m in series C funding from investors including Fosun RZ Capital, a corporate venturing subsidiary of conglomerate Fosun, Asia Venture Capital Journal reported yesterday.
Investment group Orchid Asia led the round, which also featured Matrix Partners China, a local affiliate of US-headquartered private equity and venture capital firm Matrix Partners.
Founded in 2013, Hunliji originally focused on an online and mobile platform that helped couples organise their wedding ceremonies, but has since expanded to incorporate additional services.
The company offers a marketplace for wedding-related products and services as well as an online community and wedding preparation and recording tools. It has not publicly disclosed details of its earlier funding.
