IA Ventures, an early-stage investor in data companies, has reportedly raised $50m for its first institutional fund.
News provider Fortune said former hedge fund manager Roger Ehrenberg (pictured) had raised the money from "prop[rietary] trading firms, hedge funds, other venture capitalists and a media empire (Thomson Reuters)…Cendana Capital, TIFF and Horsley Bridge".
