IDG Capital Partners, the corporate-backed China-based venture firm, has invested an undisclosed amount in local software developer Wondershare Software. Terms were undisclosed.
IDG, which is backed by US-based media company International Data Group and US venture firm Accel Partners, provided a second round of financing for Wondershare.
Tobee Wu, chief executive of Wondershare, said: "It speaks volumes about Wondershare’s business potential to receive investment financing by such a prestigious firm as IDG."
Wondershare develops multimedia and business products for Macintosh and Windows systems and was set up in 2003.
