IT services provider Infosys has agreed to acquire Fluido, a Finland-based customer relationship software integrator backed by enterprise software provider Salesforce, for up to €65m ($76m) according to Times of India.
Founded in 2009, Fluido offers consulting, strategy and training services to help businesses get the most of Salesforce’s customer relationship management (CRM) software. It operates out of offices in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Slovakia.
Infosys said it acquired the company to enhance its Salesforce expertise and strengthen its footprint in the Nordics region.
Fluido raised $3.5m in a January 2016 round led by Norvestia Growth Equity, a subsidiary of investment manager Norvestia, that included Salesforce’s corporate venturing unit, Salesforce Ventures.
Kai Mäkelä, founder and CEO of Fluido, said: “With Infosys we will now be able to provide truly global scalable services while maintaining the close relationship with our customers.
“With digital experience playing a key role in customer success, we are excited to have the opportunity to work with Infosys to help Fluido customers change the way they connect with their customers.
“Both the scale and breadth of the Infosys portfolio of offerings, broad industry expertise and enterprise cloud adoption is an exciting opportunity for Fluido customers and our people.”
