US-based customer relationship management software (CRM) developer Infusionsoft has secured $20m in funding from Orix Growth Capital, a corporate venturing arm of financial services firm Orix.
Founded in 2001, Infusionsoft develops CRM software tailored to small and medium-sized enterprises with features such as automated marketing generation and a centralised dashboard displaying key sales indicators.
The capital will support product development as Infusionsoft moves to widen the potential market for its technology. It has amassed $145m in funding to date, including $54m in a 2013 round featuring investment banking firm Goldman Sachs and Arthur Ventures.
Bain Capital Ventures led a $55m series D round for the company the following year that included Goldman Sachs, Signal Peak Ventures, Arthur Ventures and Allure Ventures.
The company subsequently raised $8m from Kickstart Seed Fund and GSD Capital in May 2018, according to Shea & Company. Mohr Davidow Ventures is also one of its early investors.
