Cargill Ventures backed Intalio, a provider of open-source business process management software, has raised $8.8m of a possible $21.2m in a preferred stock round of equity and securities, according to a filling.
Two previous filings going back to 2009 showed the company securing a total of $8.5m. As of 2007, Intalio has received $34m from investors, according to an article by news provider VentureWire , including $11m in a Series B round in 2004.
Backers of Intalio include private equity and venture capital company 3i Group , Cargill Ventures and venture capital firms Partech International, Sippl MacDonald Ventures, Woodside Fund and XML Fund.
