PacketMotion, a US-based anti-fraud services provider backed by Intel Capital, has extended its series C round by $2.7m.
Venture capital (VC) firm Athenian Venture Partners joined the consortium investing in the C round to bring its total to $8.4m. VC firms Reservoir Venture Partners, Mohr Davidow Ventures and Onset Ventures are also part of the syndicate along with Intel Capital, the corporate venturing unit of chip maker Intel.
PacketMotion initially closed its series C round in October last year at $5m to take its then-aggregate financing since launch to $39.5m.
