Eight members of Intel Capital, the corporate venturing unit of US-based technology company Intel, have been promoted to vice-president from managing director.
Those promoted to vice president were David Flanagan, Ramamurthy Sivakumar, Bryan Wolf and Marc Yi, all in the US, David Thomas, in Latin America, as well as Marcos Battisti and Marcin Hejka, in the Europe, Middle East and Africa team, and Sudheer Kuppam, in Asia-Pacific.
Flanagan is managing director of mobility services, Sivakumar manages the company’s ultrabook and perceptual computing teams, Wolf is managing director of Intel Capital’s datacenter, cloud infrastructure, networking and storage investment sectors. while Yi is responsible for the internet, digital media and education sectors.
Thomas heads Intel Capital in Latin America, Battisti is head of western Europe and Israel, Hejka is head of central and eastern Europe and Africa, while Kuppam oversees investments in Asia Pacific.
