US-based chipmaker Intel’s corporate venturing unit has helped ScienceLogic, a cloud software company, raise $15m.
Intel Capital was joined in the series B round by venture firm New Enterprise Associates. ScienceLogic said the latest round took it to $30m raised in its history.
The company has also appointed John Becker to succeed as chief executive from David Link, a co-founder of the company, who remains as the board’s chairman.
Becker was previously chief executive of monitoring software company Approva Corporation. He has also been chief executive at internet security companies Cybertrust, TruSecure Corp. and Axent Technologies.
ScienceLogic was founded in 2003.
