Intel sells half its stake in Intrasoft

Intel Capital, the corporate venturing vehicle of chipmaker Intel, has sold a 5.1% stake in India-based e-commerce company Intrasoft Technologies, according to Medianama, which cited a regulatory filing.

Intrasoft provides back-end IT services to its e-commerce subsidiaries, such as 123Stores and greeting card retailer 123Greetings. Intel Capital invested an undisclosed sum in the company in 2007, and it floated on the National Stock Exchange of India three years later.

Intel Capital sold 750,000 shares, at a profit according to VCCircle, divesting them to undisclosed buyers. It retains about 780,000 shares, equating to a 5.3% stake in Intrasoft.
