Interplay Learning, an US-based startup developing a three-dimension and virtual reality platform for trade workers, has raised $18m in its series B round from a consortium including Strada Education Network, a nonprofit corporation which assists students into post-secondary education and also known as United Student Aid Funds or USA Funds, as a new investor.
Venture capital firms Owl Ventures and S3 Ventures led Interplay’s series B round, which also included VC peers Venture Reality Fund, SJF Ventures, Sierra Ventures, Holt Ventures, Wild Basin Investments and Shelter Capital Partners.
Interplay has raised $25m in total and said it would use the money to move into new markets and further develop its existing products.
