Quixey, a US-based search engine for applications, has raised $3.8m in its series A round from a consortium including Webb Investment Network, a venture capital firm started by the chairman of data centre management company LiveOps.
Other investors in the round included venture capital firms US Venture Partners and WI Harper Group, with participation from Google chairman Eric Schmidt’s Innovation Endeavors venture capital firm.
Innovation Endeavors had previously invested $400,000 in Quixey.
