Scality, a US-based cloud storage software provider, has closed its series C funding round of $22m led by venture capital firm Menlo Ventures and Iris Capital, the fund manager which manages the joint venture capital initiative of mobile telecommunications company Orange and advertising and public relations company Publicis. France’s state-backed venture fund FSN PME also participated, along with all existing investors including Idinvest Partners, OMNES Capital and Galileo Partners.
Previously, Scality raised $7m series B funding in March 2011. Total invested capital since the company’s inception comes to $35m.

Scality was founded in 2009.
