Tracy Isacke was formally announced as the leader of US-based bank Silicon Vallley Bank’s Corporate Venture Relationship Group yesterday.
Isacke initially joined SVB in June, and her role will involve overseeing the bank’s relationships with corporate venture funds and corporate development teams.
John China, head of relationship banking at SVB, said: “We are seeing significant momentum in the innovation economy due, in part, to increased commitment and investment by corporate venture groups, which were involved in a third of all investments last quarter.
“Tracy’s global investment experience has prepared her to lead SVB’s corporate client engagement and growth strategy.”
Isacke was previously the executive vice president for new business ventures for telecommunications firm Telefónica Digital, which she joined in 2011 after stints at document management company Xerox, mobile network O2 and Telefónica subsidiary Jajah.
