UK-based automotive and aerospace group Marshall’s corporate venturing unit and Fidelity’s Moonray Investors have helped UK-based LED [light-emitting diode] lighting company iSotera raise £1.1m ($1.8m).
Martlet and Moonray Investors were joined in the round by Qi3 Accelerator, which led the deal, as well as the Low Carbon Innovation Fund, which is part funded by the European Union, as well as venture funds Synergy Energy, London Business Angels and the LBA EIS Roundtable Syndicate Fund, Cambridge Angels, Cambridge Capital Group and Surrey Investment Club.
Advisors to the transaction included law firms Harrison Clark, Taylor Vinters, Mills and Reeve and Gill, Jennings and Every. Peter Cowley, of Martlet, and 42 Technology, a business development company, worked on technical due diligence and design support.
