Software companies Red Hat and SAP’s corporate venturing unit have reinvested in US-based business intelligence (BI) services provider Jaspersoft’s $11m series F round.
Alongside Red Hat and SAP Ventures in the round were trade peer Quest Software and venture capital firms Doll Capital Management, Morgenthaler Ventures, Partech International, Scale Venture Partners and Adams Street Partners.
Shayne Higdon, managing director of corporate development at Quest Software, said: "This is the time for scalable, affordable, self-service BI. With the right resources and this management team, we believe Jaspersoft will continue to set the modern BI industry agenda."
Jaspersoft previously raised $12.5m in December 2008 from a consortium including Red Hat, following its $12m D round in August 2007 when SAP Ventures joined as a new investor. Data provider CrunchBase said Jaspersoft had raised $8m in its C round.
