Jibe, the US-based creator of a software-as-a-service recruitment platform, has closed a $20m series C funding round led by SAP Ventures, the venture capital arm of enterprise software company SAP.
Venture capital firms Polaris Partners, DFJ, Gotham Ventures, Longworth Venture Partners and Thrive Capital participated in the round as return investors, after contributing to Jibe’s $10m series B round in February 2013.
Jibe previously closed a $6m series A round in May 2011 and a $875,000 seed round in March 2010. Jibe has raised a total of almost $37 million in venture funding to date.
“Jibe’s focus on delighting enterprise customers clearly sets it apart from the competition said Doug Higgins, managing director of SAP Ventures. “SAP Ventures looks forward to lending our unique experience and connections in enterprise IT to help Jibe solidify its position as a recruiting technology leader.”
In conjunction with the investment, Higgins will join Jibe’s board of directors. Jibe plans to use the funds to promote and distribute its technology to a wider market.
