US-based big data analytics software producer Jolata has closed $7m in funding from telecommunications testing company Spirent Communications, communications technology manufacturer Ericsson and venture capital firm Ata Ventures.
Jolata provides network monitoring software that businesses can use to assess network quality, while identifying the causes of any problems and optimising service.
The capital, Jolata’s second round of funding, will be used to scale operations and increase the number of go-to-market partnerships the company is involved in, especially in the telecoms, enterprise, cloud and financial services sectors.
Jolata was co-founded in 2012 by John Loiacono and Hatch Graham, both of which are partners at Ata, and emerged from stealth in April 2015. Ata had provided the company’s previous funding, but Jolata has not disclosed the size of that investment.
