Andrew Kodis (pictured) has replaced Hans Kolnaar as head of Saudi Arabia-based chemicals company Sabic’s corporate venturing unit (CVC).
Kolnaar said by email he was becoming marketing director in Europe for Sabic’s innovative plastics business as of June 1.
Kodis worked within industrial group General Electric’s plastics division moving to Sabic in 2007 when the Saudi acquired this business. During the past few years Andrew has led the solar activities of Sabic.
Kolnaar said: “I have enjoyed setting up Sabic’s Venture Capital vehicle and feel I am leaving behind a team which is running well. I believe the timing is right to hand over to Andrew who will undoubtedly expand our CVC vehicle further.”
