Kyligence takes home $15m

China-based analytical processing startup Kyligence has completed a $15m series B round led by Eight Roads Ventures, a subsidiary of financial services group Fidelity, with participation from networking equipment producer Cisco.

Redpoint Ventures, China Broadband Capital and Shunwei Capital also took part in the round.

Kyligence has developed an artificial intelligence-powered data management and analytics platform used by customers including consumer electronics manufacturer Huawei, insurer China Pacific, carmaker SAIC Motor and telecommunications firm China Mobile.

The company said the new funding will be used to expand its sales and marketing teams with additional hires.

Kyligence has raised $25m in total but has not disclosed any previous rounds. It described Cisco, Redpoint, China Broadband Capital and Shunwei Capital as existing investors.
