Real estate data provider Landis has acquired GoldenKey, a US-based real estate services provider backed by home improvement retailer Lowe’s and media company Capitol Broadcasting, for an undisclosed sum, TechCrunch has reported.
Founded in 2015 as SoloPro, GoldenKey offered homeowners the chance to sell their house for them, or simply to provide individual services such as listing a property, conducting viewings or processing transactions.
Landis utilises data to help large-scale property investors buy and sell real estate assets. It will acquire the company’s intellectual property and data but no employees are moving across.
SoloPro raised $1.6m from Lowe’s, Capitol Broadcasting’s New Media Group, Duke Angel Network, Duke Innovation Fund, Oxpoint Investments, Buchanan Ventures, Blue Seed Capital and Arnold Capital in 2015.
The company, which had by then rebranded, added $1.7m in a February 2017 round featuring Lowe’s Ventures, which functions as the corporate venturing arm of Lowe’s, and NFX Guild.
