China-based smart enterprise tools provider Landray Software has received a nine-digit renminbi (RMB100m = $14.4m) sum from DingTalk, an occupational communication app subsidiary of e-commerce group Alibaba, Marbridge Consulting has reported.
Landray Software markets “smart office” software designed to help businesses automate functions such as the collection of enterprise information and the management of specific company processes.
DingTalk’s investment will enable it to use Landray’s expertise to complement its own services for large enterprises. Landray had previously worked with Alibaba under an agreement with the corporate’s AliCloud computing services subsidiary.
