US-based software management tool developer LaunchDarkly has received $8.7m in a series A round that, according to TechCrunch, included media company Bloomberg’s corporate venturing subsidiary, Bloomberg Beta.
LaunchDarkly provides tools that help software developers as well as other members of a company turn on and off features for select groups of users in the testing stage, and then for clients once the software has been commercially released.
The series A round was led by venture capital firm DFJ and, TechCrunch reported, also featured VC fund SoftTech VC. Bloomberg Beta, SoftTech, 500 Startups and Cervin Ventures were among the investors that supplied $2.6m in seed funding to the startup in June 2015.
