LawGeex signs off on $7m series A

LawGeex, the Israel-based creator of an automated contract review platform for businesses, has completed a $7m series A round featuring human resources and information services provider Recruit Holdings.

Lool Ventures and LionBird also took part in the round, having previously contributed to a $2.5m seed round in November 2016 that included angel investors Eilon Tirosh and Rami Lipman.

LawGeek has developed a tool that uses artificial intelligence to automatically approve incoming contracts if they meet a pre-defined criteria and passing them on to a client’s legal team if they do not.

Noory Bechor, co-founder and chief executive of LawGeex, said: “Customers who waited weeks to get a simple contract approved in the past, can now complete the entire review and approval process in under 60 minutes.

“This means corporate counsel and legal teams can finally focus on the big picture instead of getting lost in the paperwork.”
