Online legal advice centre LawPivot secured $1m in seed funding on Friday from venture firm Vaizra Investments as well as VC funds Venture 51, Quotidian Ventures, Atventure.us, MI Ventures, Sand Hill Angels, and assorted indiividual angel investors.
Previous investors include Google Ventures, which led LawPivot’s initial $600,000 seed round in October last year.
LawPivot provides a US base where users can draft legal questions publicly or confidentially and are then linked to lawyers able to provide advice. Additionally, LawPivot is launching Legal Services Marketplace, where lawyers can be hired by businesses for specific jobs.
