Germany-based enterprise software technology producer LeanIX completed a $30m series C round yesterday featuring Deutsche Telekom Capital Partners (DTCP), the corporate venturing arm of telecommunications firm Deutsche Telekom.
Venture capital and private equity firm Insight Venture Partners led the round, which included VC firms Capnamic Ventures and Iris Capital. Teddie Wardi, principal of Insight Venture Partners, will join the company’s board of directors.
Founded in 2012, LeanIX provides enterprise architecture (EA) management software that helps businesses leverage data to make better decisions and increase efficiency and transparency.
André Christ, LeanIX’s co-founder and CEO, said: “Today’s enterprises face data overload, overwhelmed by archaic IT landscapes that cripple productivity and business opportunity. Organisations need clear, actionable insights, and more than ever, enterprises are opting for IT modernisation and demanding innovative EA tools.
“Together with our investors, we aim to become the category leader for EA in a modern technology business management. While agile, DevOps and cloud are getting mainstream in enterprises, we provide the best technology for a successful adoption and continuous management.”
LeanIX had previously received $2.4m in series A funding from Iris Capital and Capnamic Ventures in 2015, before both came back for a $7.5m series B round led by DTCP in July 2017.
