Leapwork bounces to $62m series B

Leapwork, a Denmark-based codeless automation software developer, has wrapped up a $62m series B round co-led by enterprise software provider Salesforce and investment firm KKR, VentureBeat reported on Wednesday.

DN Capital and Headline also participated in the round, while Salesforce is investing through Salesforce Ventures. Leapwork had previously raised $10m from DN Capital and E.ventures in an April 2019 series A round.

Founded in 2015, Leapwork provides a no-code robotic process automation (RPA) platform that can automatically carry out repetitive tasks on behalf of business clients. It is understood to mainly be using the new funding, which gives it a valuation of $312m post-money, to grow its team.

While numerous companies are offering RPA products, including some which have already have corporate backing, Leapwork claims its product is differentiated by its simplicity and no-code design, which it says can give businesses a tenfold decrease in time to market and productivity gains of 97%.
