Leta Group, a Russia-based information technology company, has reportedly launched its corporate venture and has secured its first investment, buying a stake in interactive air screen maker Displair.
Leta GIV has been set up to invest up to $10m per year in three or four early stage companies, according to news provider East-West Digital News.
Leta GIV has provided a major part of Displair’s $1m seed round, which is closing shortly, East-West Digital News said.
Angel investor Esther Dyson, Bas Godska, a Dutch e-marketing expert, and East-West Digital News co-founders Alexander Baderko and Adrien Henni were also investors in Displair, East-West Digital News said.
