US-based Leveleleven has secured $1m in seed funding from venture capital firm Detroit Venture Partners and digital promotions agency eprize to launch its customer relations management productivity software.
Leveleleven was founded last year in Detroit as a project sponsored by ePrize which was eventually spun off as a separate entity. The company has developed and is refining an app aimed at raising productivity from employees in the retail sector. The app dubbed Contest Builder “gamifies” retail work, allowing managers to create virtual leader-boards which ranks and rewards employees based on productivity.
Currently Contest Builder is the most popular app on enterprise software provider Salesforce.com’s appstore. Leveleleven claims it’s app has been utilized by high profile clients ranging from Comcast to the Detroit Pistons.
Leveleleven hopes to use the funds raised to tailor their Contest Builder app and gamification philosophy to other aspects of retail and customer relations such as telemarketing and call centers.
