China-based vacation home rentals start-up Tujia has closed its series B round from a consortium including
local travel booking website Ctrip and US-based travel booking company Homeaway.
Venture capital firms Lightspeed Venture Partners, GGV Capital, CDH Ventures and Qiming Venture Partners also participated in the B round.
Tujia has now raised $63.7m in funding since its launch in December 2011 and raised an undisclosed amount in its A round in May last year in which HomeAway took a minority stake.
HomeAway recently worked together with its Chinese start-up partner, adding a selection of rental properties in some overseas markets onto the Tujia site.
