Otto Capital has joined existing investors Monashees and Kaszek Ventures to back GetNinjas, of São Paulo, to the tune of $3m.
The latter both invested in GetNinjas’ 2011 seed round, which raised a total of $700,000.
Launched in October 2011, GetNinjas offers an online platform for a diverse range of professionals and trades people – from mechanics and manicurists to nannies, illustrators and school tutors – to advertise their services, and for consumers to find the particular professional they are looking for.
