Singapore-based data analytics firm Lynx Analytics has raised $10m seed investment from an unnamed strategic corporate backer, according to Deal Street Asia.
The deal reportedly valued Lynx at $66m, suggesting Lynx is one of the most valuable seed-stage technology startups in Southeast Asia. The size of the investment marks one of the most significant in the region.
Founded in 2010, Lynx Analytics provides trending tools such as graph analysis, big data insights and related campaigns to clients in the telecoms and financial services sectors.
Founders Sander Swinkels and Gyorgy Lajtai confirmed their investor, said to be a global player, held a “deep knowledge of the market and understood [the] big data challenge”.
