Mailman launches seed fund

Mailman Group, a social media and digital advertising company has formed a start up fund, Mailman Ventures, which will provide financial support as well as expertise to three Asian startups during 2013.

Mailman’s clients include American Airlines and football club Manchester United. It recently launched Fanstang, a platform that connects international celebrities to their Chinese fan base.

As a seed investor, Mailman will pass experience and network to young companies that are trying to expand. It is looking to support promising founders with disruptive ideas.

Andrew Collins, the chief executive of  Mailman Group, said: “Mailman Ventures is aimed to support young entrepreneurs with disruptive ideas, by injecting cash, plugging holes in strategy, positioning and branding – and most importantly kick-starting their road to success.”
