Online education group Manipal Global Education Services has paid an undisclosed sum to acquire one of its portfolio companies, India-based big data learning provider Jigsaw Academy, VCCircle has reported.
Jigsaw offers customers courses in big data and data analytics in addition to associated fields like machine learning and data science. It will add to Manipal’s range of adult education and reskilling services.
The company was founded in 2011, and received $3m in funding from Manipal Global and Manipal’s chairman, TV Mohandas Pai, in 2015.
