Temasek, the investment holding company backed by the Singapore government, co-led a $30m funding round on Monday for advertising management company Marin Software, in conjunction with SAP Ventures, the corporate venturing fund for software corporation SAP.
Also participating in the series F round, which took Marin’s overall financing to $80m, were venture capital firms Benchmark Capital, Crosslink Capital and DAG Ventures, and private equity firm Triangle Peak Partners. Previous investors include Focus Ventures and Amicus Capital.
Marin operates an advertising management and optimisation platform, the customer base of which almost doubled to 1,500 over the last year.
In addition to the financing, Frank van Veenendaal, president of worldwide sales and services at Salesforce.com, is joining Marin’s board of directors.
