Metanet Tplatform uplinks with $100m investment

Metanet Tplatform, a hybrid cloud integration service subsidiary of Korea-based digital business platform Metanet, has secured a $100m cash injection from Affirma Capital’s Ascenta V fund.

Metanet Tplatform offers a one-stop platform for businesses looking to migrate their services – such as data, artificial intelligence and application modernisation – to the cloud.

The money will allow the company to grow the cloud business over the next three years, boosting its platform-as-a-service and software-as-a-service offerings and funding its expansion into additional overseas markets.

Konjon Lee, chief executive of Metanet Tplatform, said: “The investment represents an opportunity for us to take a leap forward in technology advancement as well as business expansion.

“We will continue to grow into the world’s leading cloud-specialised company to provide digital transformation services for our customers.”
