MindTickle sells Qualcomm on $12.5m series A

MindTickle, the India-based developer of a sales training platform, has secured $12.5m in a series A round featuring mobile chipmaker Qualcomm’s corporate venturing unit, the Economic Times reported on Friday.

Qualcomm Ventures was joined by venture capital firm New Enterprise Associates, which led the round, and another VC firm, Accel Partners. News of the round was originally reported by the Wall Street Journal, but ET reported the identity of all the investors.

MindTickle produces sales coaching software that incorporates data science and gamification, helping sales staff to become more efficient and cutting training time for its corporate customers.

The company previously raised $1.8m in seed capital from Accel and Moneta Ventures in October 2014.
