China-based intelligent driving technology developer MiniEye has collected an undisclosed amount of funding in a series B round led by mapping technology provider NavInfo.
Venture capital firm Zhejiang Zheshang also took part in the round, which Minieye said increased its overall funding over the last six months to $20m.
MiniEye is developing advanced driver-assistance systems that enable autonomous vehicles to detect and process moving objects on a road through artificial intelligence technology. It will work with NavInfo to create high definition maps and chips for autonomous passenger and commercial vehicles.
The new capital will fund development of level two and three autonomous driving products which are expected to be released within the coming months.
The company closed a series A round of undisclosed size in January 2018 that included contributions from conglomerate Zhejiang Jiaxin Development Company, ZTE VC and Puhua Capital, according to China Money Network.
