China-based big data services provider MiningLamp has raised RMB200m ($30m) in a series B round backed by network and IT technology producer Surfilter Network Technology, China Money Network reported on Wednesday.
Venture capital firm Sequoia Capital led the round, which included Share Capital and Heaven-Sent Capital Management Group, the latter of which participated as an existing investor, according to Chinese media reports.
Founded in 2014, MiningLamp provides customised big data products for business use. The series B round will support research and development, with a view to producing new applications.
MininngLamp also intends to expand its services to businesses in the finance, tax, precision marketing and data association sectors.
