China-based robotics technology developer Mooe Robot has raised almost RMB100m ($15.4m) from a consortium including logistics service provider Deppon Express, DealStreetAsia reported yesterday.
Venture capital firm BlueRun Ventures took part in the round as a new investor, Deppon having previously supplied an undisclosed amount for the company in June 2020.
Officially known as Shanghai Muant Robot Technology, Mooe Robot provides robotics technology for use in warehouses. Its lead products is a robotic forklift system.
The company will allocate the funding to product development and increasing headcount, having reportedly grown its revenue 400% year on year in 2020.
