Motorola Mobility Ventures, the corporate venturing unit of the eponymous retail phone maker, has invested an undisclosed sum in Catch Media, which manages digital rights.
Motorola Mobility, which last month split from Motorla Solutions for business users, joins US talent agency WME Entertainment as a strategic investor in Catch Media.
Mony Hassid, Israel-based managing director of Motorola Mobility Ventures, said: "Catch Media’s innovative B2B platform gives consumers the ubiquitous access they crave while compensating the content owners, content distributors and every other party that contributes to the ecosystem."
Yaacov Ben-Yaacov, co-founder and chief executive of Catch Media, said: "Motorola Mobility’s support will enable our platform to be more tightly integrated across their devices."
