China-based live broadcast service provider Mudu.tv has raised RMB110m ($15.9m) in a series B round that included enterprise management software provider Yonyou Network Technology, China Money Network has reported.
Founded in 2015, Mudu provides livestreaming technology and services to enterprise customers, including cloud-based online production tools, content distribution services, online branding, data analysis, an editing tool and technical support.
The company’s products include a livestreaming platform, a program production offering and a livestreaming tuition service.
In addition to researching and developing artificial intelligence (AI) and big data technologies, the capital will be used to integrate new products and services through direct investments.
The investment comes after Mudu formed a strategic partnership with Yonyou’s online enterprise service platform, Yonyou Cloud, in 2018. Mudu raised approximately $14.5m in funding from investors including Puda Capital in August 2017, according to China Money Network.
