US-based MuleSoft, an online integration platform, has raised $37m in its series E round from a consortium including cloud software company Salesforce and SAP Ventures, the corporate venturing unit of the eponymous Germany-based software company.
Venture capital firm New Enterprise Associates led the E round, which also included VC peers Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Morgenthaler Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Bay Partners.
Since being founded in 2006, this brings the total raised by the company to $80.5m: $4m in series A funding in 2006, a $12.5m series B round in 2007, $12m in a series C round in 2010 and $15m in series D financing in 2012.
