China-based IT services provider Neusoft has invested in its industrial and supply chain technology spinoff, Neusoft Huiju, as part of a RMB210m ($31.1m) series A round,
Legend Capital, the venture capital firm formed by conglomerate Legend Holding, led the round.
Founded in 2007, Neusoft Huiju was formed by Neusoft and enterprise software provider DHC Software.
The company has developed a suite of enterprise tools that help customers such as financial institutions, logistics firms, chemical providers and automotive manufacturers with tasks like warehouse management, industrial automation, manufacturing, data and supply chain management.
Neusoft Huiju has formed strategic partnerships with software producers SAP and Microsoft, cloud software and application producer Oracle, computing technology provider IBM and e-commerce firms Amazon and Alibaba.
In addition to funding the development of its SAP product, Neusoft Huiju will use the series A proceeds to make strategic hires and beef up its research and development hubs in the cities of Beijing, Wuhan and Xiamen.
