NewVoiceMedia, the UK-based vendor for a cloud contact platform, raised $50m in series E funding today in a round supported by cloud computing company Salesforce.com.
Venture capital firm Technology Crossover Ventures led the round as a new investor. Existing investors that took part in the round include Bessemer Venture Partners, Highland Capital Partners Europe, Eden Ventures and Notion Capital.
Salesforce participated in the round as a strategic investor, as NewVoiceMedia’s product integrates with it to enable organisations to connect with their customers.
The funding caps off a busy 18 months for NewVoiceMedia, which raised $35m from Bessemer, Highland, Eden and Notion in September 2013, and $20m in a January 2013 round that also featured MMC Capital. It secured approximately $6.3m in a 2010 series A round.
NewVoiceMedia will use the capital to support international growth, enhancing its infrastructure, sales, marketing and professional services in the North America, Asia Pacific, Europe and Middle East regions. It is currently present in 40 countries across five continents.
