Nexant, a US-based provider of energy software and services, has added a further financial investor to its consortium after Intel Capital in September disclosed its investment in the company.
Nexant has now raised $50m in the round compared to $43m in September. Private equity firm Symphony Technology Group joined the consortium, which includes financial investment peers Oak Investment Partners and Beacon Group and TeleSoft Partners.
Intel disclosed its investment two months ago as one of four it had made from its $200m Intel Capital Invest in America Technology Fund launched in February.
