Nokia Growth Partners (NGP) a corporate venturing unit of the Finland-based mobile handset maker, has led a $9m series B round for India-based digital marketing technology company Vizury Interactive.
Venture capital firms Ojas Venture Partners and Inventus Capital Partners also participated in the B round, while angel investors, who led the undisclosed A round, remain invested in Vizury.
Anupam Rastogi, principal at NGP Advisors India, will be joining Vizury’s board.
Chetan Kulkarni, co-founder and chief executive of Vizury, said: “We see this funding as an endorsement of our approach to strategically partner with our customers and help them drive revenue using a combination of cutting edge technology and enterprise class service.”
Vizury will use the new funds to strengthen its presence across Australia, Asia and South America.
