NS Solutions, a Japan-based information technology solution provider owned by Japan-based company Nippon Steel, has helped Openet, an Ireland-based transaction management software company, raise $21m on June 13.
Openet’s fourth round of funding since 1999 took it to $55m raised in total. Margaret Rice-Jones, the former chief executive of Aircom International, has also joined Openet’s board.
The NS Solutions-led D round was also joined by venture firms Balderton Capital, Cross Atlantic, as well as venture debt provider Kreos Capital. The financing was structure as $16m in equity and $5m in long term debt.
