NS8, a US-based cybersecurity technology startup backed by media group Bloomberg, has confirmed receiving $7.5m in seed capital led by VC firm Arbor Ventures and backed by TDF Ventures and Hanna Ventures.
Founded in 2016, NS8 offers online-focused businesses software with built-in fraud prevention and customer analytics to prevent e-commerce fraud. The technology plugs into e-commerce web design platforms used by the industry.
The cash will go towards further product development as NS8’s prepares to expand in North America, Western Europe and India.
NS8 has raised $8.75m in total. Details on earlier funding have not been disclosed, however NS8’s website names Bloomberg subsidiary Bloomberg Beta as an investor.
The other backers are TDF Ventures, Blu Venture Investors, NextGen Venture Partners, Mach 37, Hillcrest Venture Partners and a range of angel investors.
