IDG Ventures, a corporate venturing unit of International Data Group, has helped social news aggregating start-up Nuzzel, which is stil in beta, raise more than $1.7m in seed funding, according to news provider TechCrunch.
IDG Ventures was joined in the round by venture firms 500 Startups, Charles River Ventures, SoftTech VC and Andreessen Horowitz.
